The installed base of container tracking systems grew 54 percent in 2012
According to a new research report from the analyst firm Berg Insight, the number of active remote container tracking units deployed on intermodal shipping containers was 137,000 in Q4-2012, up from 89,000 a year earlier. Growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 49.1 percent, this number is expected to reach 1.0 million by 2017. Location-based service revenues in Europe to reach € 825 million by 2017
According to a new research report by Berg Insight, mobile location-based service (LBS) revenues in Europe are forecasted to grow from € 325 million in 2012 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.5 percent to reach € 825 million in 2017. Berg Insight says 2.8 million patients are remotely monitored today
According to a new research report from the analyst firm Berg Insight, around 2.8 million patients worldwide were using a home monitoring service based on equipment with integrated connectivity at the end of 2012. The figure comprises all patients that were using dedicated devices for remote monitoring.
